Rainhill High School is a Trust School. We are founding members of Rainhill Learning Village Trust. The other partners are Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and St Helens College.
The objectives of the Trust are:
- To improve education standards for the children of Rainhill
- To foster collaboration to benefit children and young people by expanding the opportunities open to them in education, training and employment
- To contribute to community cohesion by bringing about further improvements in the quality of the services we offer
- To promote a culture of innovation, combining traditional values with a 21st century approach to the curriculum
- To develop multi-site “all through” provision with common approaches to teaching, learning and student support
- To help Rainhill High School achieve its aim of becoming the best comprehensive in the North West, and to be recognised as a “leading edge” school, with high performing specialist status
