R.A.C.
We pride ourselves on the support we offer to children with additional needs. Support within the classroom is complemented by enrichment learning through our Raising Achievement Centre (R.A.C.). The focus is on raising Literacy and Numeracy levels across both key stages.
The R.A.C. is a centre which offers a facility for both learning and social development. It operates a morning breakfast club and after school study programme. Lunch times offer support for those children who find whole school recreation times difficult.
The RAC is well resourced and staffed by our SEN Manager, Mrs E Bradshaw, and a full time teacher assigned to a year 7 class, R.A.C. Manager, HLTA (Literacy and Reading Recovery) as well as full time Learning Support Assistants
